Things you don’t expect anybody to say yet ChatGPT whips out like that’s a normal sentence

Collecting new tripod from Jessops in Leeds. Came across silent protest /vigil by Women in Black a group founded by Jewish women in support of peace and justice for Palestine. Wondered what the point was. People just walk by. Do they need to be reminded of the slaughter of innocent people in Gaza?

Opening my emails this morning forgetting I ordered takeaway cookie dough and ice cream last night to celebrate Leeds United winning their first game of the season.

Practically impossible to live car free & reduce emissions outside of London. Price of trains, even for short journeys within the region, is crazy compared to the equiv by car. Not to mention delays & overcrowded carriages. I dream of a world where polluting cars aren’t needed to pop to town

This guy seen in York. Head down, big hat, massive instrument, emerging from down an alley of rubbish bins. **What’s the story? ** He could have just emerged from playing at a local dive. He could have been dumpster diving and retrieved this instrument from the wheelie bin. What do you think?

The Musician

This guy caught my eye in York. Head down, big hat, massive instrument, emerging from down an alley of rubbish bins. What’s the story? I’d love to know. He could have just emerged from playing at a local dive. He could have been dumpster diving and retrieved this instrument from the wheelie bin. What do you think?

Torn between getting a soundbar or two decent speakers. I love listening to music, especially when I can hear the individual instruments. Echo Dots just don’t do the music justice, but they are convenient: “Alexa play relaxing jazz.”

Not too pleased Waterstones is opening 10 stores. More people reading is great. Not buying from Amazon? Even better. But Waterstones is a huge chain. James Daunt owns other huge book shop chains including Foyles / Blackwells. I’d be much happier to hear that 10 more indie bookshops have opened.

Stopped at the Angel of the North. Ali mentioned having never been. Shocking. Good fast car charger here and decent enough coffee van. Not a bad stop. Feeling more cultured. And tanned.
